4 legged animals are slaughtered in the name of Allah swt to signify the incident of Prophet Ismail a.s whom was supposed to be slaughtered by his own father, Prophet Ibrahim a.s after receiving the revelation from Allah swt. However, his willingness to do so in the name of Allah swt had been recognised, thus Prophet Ismail a.s was replaced by a Kibas.

It was also stated that Korban actually dated back during time of Prophet Adam a.s.

But in actual sense, Little Bubu was brought by Papa to the site. Bubu brought along the camera and snapped a few pictures.

After seeing those pictures, I wish I was there. Hm. Previously I was told only men would ensure the slaughtering ran smoothly. According to Papa, women too were there; to help their husbands along.
I don’t have a husband yet (-_-”)

Yes, I can stand the sight of blood and organs Why? Because those animals were slaughtered with care and halal procedures. My thought would be different if the animals were stabbed to death viciously and of course I could not stand the grotesque sight.
